The Power of a Smile
Light shines brightest in the dark
So we all know that smiling can vastly improve our mood, but did you know that smiling can also help lower blood pressure and reduce stress levels? And we know the old saying “laughter is the best medicine,” but did you know that it actually might be? Studies have shown that laughter can actually boost your immune system by triggering signaling molecules in your brain that fight illness and stress. Laughter also causes your body to release natural pain killers.
Doesn’t all of this sound like the perfect way to fight off some of what we are all feeling during this COVID-19 Pandemic? We thought so! We have compiled some of the things that have made us laugh and smile during the past few weeks. We hope they can bring a smile to your face!
